These rules govern every auction on this site and form part of our Terms of Service. Read them before you place a bid.
1. A bid is binding
Placing a bid is a binding offer to purchase the item at that price under the conditions disclosed on the listing. Bids cannot be retracted once placed.
2. Increments
Each auction has a minimum increment shown on the listing. Bids below the current high bid plus the increment are rejected. Increments scale with price.
3. Auction states
- Scheduled — visible but not yet open for bids
- Live — open for bidding
- Ending soon — under one hour remaining
- Ended — closed; sold or unsold
4. Reserve prices
Most lots open at $1 with no reserve. Where a reserve applies it is disclosed on the listing. If a reserve is not met, the item does not sell and no obligation arises on either side.
5. Time extension (anti-sniping)
Where enabled and disclosed on the listing, a bid placed in the final moments extends the auction by a short fixed period, so genuine bidding is not cut off by timing alone. The extension repeats until bidding stops.
6. Winning and payment
The highest valid bid when the clock hits zero wins. Winners are notified by email and in their account, and payment is due promptly. Unpaid wins may result in the item being relisted and the account suspended.
7. Prohibited bidding
Shill bidding, bidding with no intent to pay, coordinating with other bidders, and automated bidding tools are prohibited and will result in account closure and cancellation of affected bids.
8. Our right to cancel
We may cancel or relist an auction where a listing error is discovered, the item is found to be damaged or unsellable before shipping, or where we have reasonable grounds to suspect bid manipulation.
